Action Refraction was a blog I wrote from May 2012 to July 2013 while directing A [motion capture] Midsummer Night's Dream, using it as a place to collect and share tech and creative inspirations and other musings with the company. (I'd also had the domain name ActionRefraction.com for a while and wanted to give it something to do.)
This blog was inspired by another, Phade Up, which I wrote between April 2009 and February 2010, while assistant directing on a production of Racine's Phèdre at the Stratford Festival and the American Conservatory Theater.
